Wow, my first post! Never thought I would make it here! I can't wait to bring you all on my personal journey of growth both mentally and spiritually. Please have patience, however, as I am still learning and am constantly failing, but I hope and pray that documenting this journey will help me and maybe even others learn from their mistakes. In this blog, I will...
share snippets of my life and figure out what lessons I can learn from them,
find corresponding and encouraging verses to life's situations to help growth,
share some of what I learn from my own personal daily devotions,
and show other ladies, as well as myself, how to love the skin and body God gave them, how to accept it and embrace it, and to learn to be mindful of the judgment you give to other people (which unfortunately I find myself guilty of more than I even realized).
Putting growth aside, I also plan to share fun things like...
my outfit for the day,
maybe some meals I enjoy and the recipes with it,
my favorite useful household items
favorite Amazon finds (I kinda sorta mayybeee have a teeny little obsession with that...)
and anything else I can think of that could be fun and entertaining while still useful and encouraging.
I also plan to add some Bible verses (I use KJV in case you may be wondering) at the end of each blog post so I can still tie in personal growth and development with the fun side of this blog. But I cannot wait to show you my fashionista side because modest fashion is something I truly enjoy, creating stylish and trendy outfits that both glorify God and flatter my petite body type. Besides fashion and styling, I enjoy reading and writing so if y'all would like I could share some things like my favorite books, tips on writing, and (if I get the hang of it ;) blogging, and I'll post anything in between for that subject.
I have many other ideas for this blog, so if you guys would like to follow me all are welcome to! If you have any comments or suggestions as to what to post, how I can improve the look and aesthetic of my blog, or anything else you can think of, I would appreciate the help. Comment down below with those suggestions and ideas! Can't wait to see what y'all come up with!
Until next time,
“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”
